The VWNC hosted its newest members on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Victoria City Hall’s Antechamber.

For many members, this was their first visit to this amazing historic venue. While rain showers prevented much exploring outside around Centennial Square, inside the 30+ in attendance enjoyed coffee and treats while having some time to connect and share their story.
Our new members indicated that they selected Victoria as their new home for a variety of reasons – fair weather and family are usually in the top 5. Many of our new – newcomers have already been busy with activities and are looking forward to learning more about which VWNC activities they can add to their calendars. They also spoke about the wonderful welcome they have received from everyone at VWNC. We have amazing women in our club!
Our sincere thanks to Kathy Campbell and Alison Patch (VWNC Membership leads) for organizing and to the executive for their baking prowess – Jo-ann’s lemon squares were a big hit!
