Activities to share –

The VWNC is pleased to announce two new activities and we are delighted that new members are taking on convener duties. Thank you!

Pickleball

Check out North America’s fastest growing sport – pickleball! We’ll have our indoor court booked at Henderson Rec Centre. When the weather is nice, we can play outdoors at Beacon Hill Park. All levels of play are welcome!

And once we’re done playing, we’ll have the option of coffee/lunch at Cook Street Village’s Hidden Gem Cafe or Bubbly Rose Cafe.

DATE & TIME: First time for this season will be Monday, Nov.6, 10:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. 

Following our launch, we will play every other Monday from November until March.

Improve your French over coffee

This activity is offered to anyone who wants to improve their French language skills. There is no obligation to speak fluently, but this is an occasion to share, learn some French words and expressions over a good coffee. The number of attendees at each coffee time will be limited to five. 

DATE & TIME: The second Monday of each month, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Good Earth Coffeehouse – 535 Superior Street
