Victoria Women’s Newcomers Club (VWNC) is a volunteer organization providing opportunities to connect with others through shared experiences. You’ll build friendships and gain a better understanding of your community through social, cultural and outdoor activities.

From heritage tours, to golf, and outdoor adventures to book clubs, art in the city, and walking groups, our members explore new passions and discover new opportunities. And some, such as pub nights, welcome partners. (See Activities for a complete list of opportunities – we are confident there is something for everyone.)

One of the premier events our club hosts is its Women’s Luncheon and Speaker Series at the historic Union Club, just steps away from the inner harbour. It is generally held on the first Thursday of each month (September to June with some exceptions). In addition to great food and good company, it features a variety of guest speakers. The luncheon is the perfect venue for our members to come together and catch up with ‘old’ friends and meet new ones.
