Hello and thank you for your interest in Victoria Women’s Newcomers Club!

Looking to become a member of VWNC? We’d love to welcome you to the club! Annual membership runs from September 1 – August 31, with women joining throughout the year.

Eligibility Criteria  

Membership to the Victoria Women’s Newcomers Club (VWNC) is open to women who have moved to Victoria in the last four years.  In May 2025, members voted to allow membership to continue as long as you wish.  Previously, members would “graduate” and join NOVA (Newcomers of Victoria Alumnae).  Members may now belong to both clubs, with no time restriction. NOVA members (who are VWNC alumni) can also rejoin VWNC at any time. 

Membership Perks

  – information about club events and   activities
  – club & community news
  – a photo gallery
  – a membership directory
• Unlimited participation in a wide range of VWNC events and group activities (*Some activities have additional fees).
• Invitation to our monthly luncheons & speaker series at the beautiful Union Club.
  – You will receive a  name tag to wear these during club activities – a great way to learn everyone’s names!
• Membership in the National Newcomers Association of Canada www.nnac.ca

Membership fees are $45 annually September 1- August 31.  A prorated fee is available from April 1 to June 1. When you contact our membership team, please include your full name and specify when you moved to VictoriaThe membership process may take up to seven days. Payment is processed through the VWNC Stack Team App.
